Japanese slitters in burnished steel Art. F5 , tool length 205 mm, average width of the handle 45 mm, blade width 8 mm for deep engraving of the large branches of bonsai plants.
The crackers driven firmly into the large branches are used to break the woody part of the branch (ruining only a small part of the living external bark of the plant). In this way, it is possible to model large branches that normally could not be folded; the plant is thus able to continue to live without suffering excessive trauma as the internal wood acts only as a support and accumulation since the lymphatic part is completely distributed inside the bark.
