It is a comprehensive manual boasting the largest number of recognized plants in the history of the Azalea Encyclopedia.

According to one theory, there are 6,000 to 8,000 varieties of Satsuki that have been named so far. There are also varieties that exist only in the literature, and the number of varieties displayed in recent exhibitions is estimated at around 500 in reality.

This document lists all the latest varieties registered and certified by Japan Satsuki Association, Tochigi Prefecture Satsuki Association and Kanuma Satsukai from 2014 to 2019. From new flowers to old flowers that have been announced by various organizations; to all plants displayed in exhibitions or on the shelves of various azalea lovers, in specialized shops and garden shops.
