Vermiculite, agrivermiculite 1/3 mm (1 kg - c.a 9 lt)
VERMICULITE, AGRIVERMICULITE 1/3 mm (1 Kg - approx. 10 lt).
For the production of Vermiculite, only vermiculite with very high levels of purity is used, totally extracted in the Palabora fields in South Africa.
The thermal process to which it is subjected gives rise to a light, sterile, pathogen-free and non-polluting foam material.
The particular treatment gives the product a porosity of about 95% by volume, a water retention capacity equal to 54% and a coefficient of thermal conductivity k equal to 0.049 cal / hm C.
Thanks to these values, the distribution of Germisol F over the sown containers allows a reduction in the evaporation of water, a delayed drying of the substrate, thermal insulation and a reduction in the frequency of wetting.
All this to create a microclimate conducive to seed germination.

? Refractory concrete.
USED IN BULK:
? Mixed to the soil to confer sterility and to reduce the frequency of pathogenic attacks on the roots;
? As a cover for sowed boxes (spread a layer of 2-4 mm above the seeds and then wet);
? As a bed for reptiles or rodents of various types or as a bed for hatching reptile and bird eggs inside incubators;
? As an insulator in the formation of sprues in the foundry;
? As an absorbent in the packaging of packages containing dangerous liquids;
? For thermal insulation of non-practicable attics.
NB: NEWS ON PACKAGING
It should be noted that the product will arrive inside a bag (with a total weight of 1 kg, as specified in the title of the advertisement) labeled and packaged, according to the terms of the law, by the employees of Geosism & Nature sas
NB: NEWS ON WEIGHT AND VOLUME
It should be noted that the specific weight of the material varies according to the different type of rock being worked. Furthermore, vermiculite is a highly compressible product. Therefore, on the basis of the aforementioned assumptions it is specified that the reference parameter for the quantification of this product only and exclusively the WEIGHT. The volume described is to be considered only indicative information that can also undergo considerable variations.
