SPHERICAL QUARTZ is a round, single-crystalline quartz of alluvial origin, with a SiO2 content of 99%, hardness according to the Mohs scale equal to 7, heat resistant up to 1730°C without pre-combustion, resistant to cold up to -180°C and pressures up to 3000 kg/cm2.
GROUND QUARTZ is crushed, dried and sieved quartz sand, with SiO2 content of 95, hardness according to the Mohs scale equal to 7, melting temperature 1500/1700°.
